Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information the Trackseam app and website ("Trackseam", "we", "us"), operated by Trackseam, collect, how it is used, and the choices you have. Trackseam is a tool for tailors and fashion businesses ("you") to keep records of their own clients.
1. Information we collect

We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, advertising identifiers or payment information. Trackseam shows no advertising and contains no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
2. Your clients' information
When you record information about your clients, you decide what is stored and why; we process it only on your behalf to provide the service. You are responsible for having a lawful basis (such as your client's consent) to record their details and measurements, and for honouring their requests to see or delete them. You can delete any client or measurement at any time in the app.
3. How we use information
- To provide, maintain and secure the service.
- To send service emails you ask for, such as password-reset links. We do not send marketing email.
- To comply with the law and enforce our Terms of Use.
We do not sell, rent or share your information or your clients' information with anyone for their own purposes, and we do not use it for advertising or to train AI models.
4. Service providers
We use a small number of providers who process data only to run Trackseam:
- Aiven: managed MySQL database hosting, encrypted in transit and at rest.
- Render: application hosting.
- Google (Gmail): delivery of password-reset emails.
These providers may store data outside your country. Where that happens we rely on their contractual and security safeguards.
5. Security
All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted with HTTPS/TLS. Passwords are hashed, password-reset links expire after one hour, and each account can only access its own records. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you of a breach affecting you where the law requires it.
6. Retention and deletion
We keep your account and records for as long as your account exists. You can permanently delete your account and everything in it at any time:
- in the app, under Account → Delete account;
- on the web, at the account deletion page; or
- by emailing contact@trackseam.com from your account email address.
Deletion removes your account, all your clients and all their measurements from our live database immediately. Encrypted database backups held by our hosting provider are overwritten within 30 days.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, the GDPR and similar laws) you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to complain to a data protection authority. Contact us at contact@trackseam.com to exercise these rights; we will respond within 30 days.
8. Children
Trackseam is a business tool intended for people aged 18 and over. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly allow children to create accounts. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. We will change the effective date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the app or by email.
